The University Of Washington Office Of Admissions handles admittance of all incoming and transfer students.

With each new year, a series of view books is created to give the incoming students information about the school and campus life. This year's book needed to stand out and capture the attention of the high school-age audience.

Goals:
•  Create an eye-catching, fun, exciting, and edgy designed series of brochures
•  Adhere to the new University Of Washington brand guidelines
•  Target high school age students
•  Deliver three brochures in the same unique style, the central View Book, International, and Transfer Student View Books

As the lead designer, I saw the project from concept to completion. Creating visual concepts, presenting, client communication, and attending press checks to ensure a quality project was delivered.

Challenge
The University as a whole had just gone through a significant visual rebranding. As a result, we would need to push the limits of the new brand guidelines for the books to stand out visually.
Solution
Using brand styles and graphics including, angles, fonts, patterns, and colors in combination with active campus lifestyle photography it was possible to create new and exciting ways to pique the audience's interest. Every page became a unique layout while still maintaining visual hierarchy and style over the series of brochures.

In the end, all three brochures were successfully printed, and the department had a great series of marketing brochures for incoming students.
